Volunteer

LCB is a dynamic and vibrant organisation with a small office-based staff, a large seasonal creative team and a number of wonderful volunteers who support the charity through the year.

There are several volunteering opportunities available through the LCB. Here are some ways you might like to be involved:

LCB Outreach and Audition Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers to help at our busy annual events including our two outreach Ballet for £1 matinees performances, assisting audience members to their seats and making their experience more memorable and accessible. Our busy autumn auditions are a fun way to get involved and volunteer with the team and see the work that goes into running this successful annual event. Please get in touch if you would like to volunteer for either event. 

Ticket Committee

LCB sells 8,000 tickets to its productions each year. As our ballets are ideal for family outings, we find that schools make some of the best networks for getting the word out. If you would be interested in helping us promote LCB ballets through your child’s school or other networks, please get in touch.

LCB Women in Business Committee

A committee of women from all professions who wish to support the work of the charity, LCB’s Women in Business hosts networking events with interesting speakers in aid of LCB, and helps to make introductions for the charity to companies interested in supporting the arts and community outreach programmes.  If you'd like to help, do let us know.  

Office Support

LCB is run by a small team and we would love help from volunteers during busy periods. Office volunteering can involve anything from stuffing envelopes over a cup of tea to helping us prepare events or doing small research projects. If this appeals to you, please contact us.

Fundraise for LCB

Whether you’re running the marathon, love baking cakes or are interested in hosting an event on behalf of LCB, we would love to hear from you. We have a special pack for people keen to help raise money for LCB, full of great ideas. Please get in touch if you’d like to receive one of these packs or would like to talk to us further about ways to support our work.

Specialist Pro-Bono Support

If you work for a firm that offers pro-bono support to charities and would like to offer LCB specialist help, please get in touch by email or call the LCB office directly. If you have expertise in PR, marketing, fundraising, social media, primary education or any other skill set that you feel may be relevant to LCB and our work, we would love to hear from you.
